The Office Staff

Gary has leased 1300 square feet in the River Crossing Office Center in Spokane, just 5 blocks from the Spokane County Courthouse, and three blocks from downtown Spokane. His entire office system is networked, with a new central printer/copier. All staff have up dated or new computers, and also have their own back up printers. He has a private conference

room, and three other offices. All computers have the latest Washington State Domestic Forms, and Worksheet programs. He has onsite file storage and maintains logged closed file storage with Northwest Vital Records of Spokane. He has private investigators at his disposal, as well as professional process servers. The office is also networked to accept and transmit documents by fax or e-mail.

Gary's Paralegal

Jan, our paralegal, graduated from the University of Hawaii and has taken advanced courses and training as a paralegal. She has worked for other large law firms in Spokane as a case manager, legal assistant and paralegal, and is in charge of all Gary's cases. She has many years experience and knows how to care for a client's needs. Jan helps Gary organize all these case, which range from minor traffic infraction defense to large dissolution/custody cases. She is familiar with

courtroom staff, local court rules and expectations, emergency motions, parenting plans, child support rules, and case and trial preparation. It is often advisable to call her first to get the lowdown on your case. She is also certified to enter orders with the court, and works closely with the court administrators on Gary's caseload.

Reception

Janie, our legal assistant/receptionist has been with the firm for a short time but already understands the process. She graduated from Auburn University and helps with the billing, typing, filing, and administration of Gary's schedule. She is the one to call about your bill and to find Gary, which is not an easy task. If it is on the computer, she knows how to do it, or can find

out how. [Karen, Gary's wife also answers the phones at his office, so if you hear, "honey, its for you," don't be surprised. Even though very photogenic, Karen didn't want her picture taken. Since she is really the one in charge around here, no one is pressing the issue. However, Gary got her in a few shots in the slide show.]
